It's Clean & Simple All The Way!...

Oooh how I miss my papercrafting, blogging & visiting all your fab sites so I've decided I have to try & make more time & making CAS cards will certainly help? (hopefully lol).  I have learned to crochet which is something I've wanted to do for years but could never quite get the hang of it (only the basics but it's a start & I can make little flowers, which I've always wanted to do), so I am really chuffed!

On to the important stuff:  this week's Sentimental Sundays challenge is "Use Kraft Cardstock" (+ a sentiment).  For my card I used Pink Petticoat's Mr Moustache digital image stamp which I mounted on black card, added some twine & stars.  Our sponsor is Oak Pond Creations & there is the chance to win 3 of their wonderful images but - You've Gotta be in it to Win it! LOL   I hope you can join us & I look forward to seeing your fab creations.  Don't forget to check out the DT blogs for lots more inspiration.

The challenges:
A Gem of Challenge - Clean & Simple
Simon Says - Anything Goes
Simply Create Too - It's A Special Occasion

Enjoy the rest of the weekend & thanks for looking :o) - Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm back in the swing of crafting/blogging.  Hugs xxxx

Hiya Tracey it is lovely to see you back, how wonderful that you have taken up crochet, that is what I did last year but then put it aside to make more cards, lol, now I have forgotten most of what I learnt. Tracey I love your CAS card the image and sentiment are great, love the twine and stars this style of card always look so professional, hope we don't have to wait too long to see you post again.

First of all I would like to say superb blog! I had a quick question in which I'd like
to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to find out how you center
yourself and clear your mind before writing. I have had difficulty clearing my
thoughts in getting my ideas out. I truly do take pleasure
in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost simply just trying to figure out
how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Many thanks!

What a perfectly balanced CAS card! Just adorable and wonderful stars. I want to learn to crochet too...maybe I'll find some time this winter. Maybe you'll be adding one of your little flowers to one of your cards?
