Willow Sketchie :-)

Just managed to fit in another card before bed (just). I've used the Willow Designs Winnie Owl with her handbag (coloured in with Prismacolor pencils of course). I found the base card in my stash & thought the sentiment was perfect lol. The finishing touches are brads, anchorettes (that's what it says on the pot) & glitter flower & gems. I think you can just about recognise the Willow Sketchie sketch. I'm entering this for the PaperPlay challenge too which is "Ooh -La-La Fashion"

Right time for bed now I'm shattered after my early morning (work).

Sunny Card

Unfortunately I had to work this morning (& at 8.00 am shouldn't be allowed on a Saturday lol) luckily only until 11.30 so I managed to fit in a little bit of crafting :-) This is the first time I've used these stamps which I got at the Ally Pally, the image is coloured in with Prismas & chalk & I've paper pieced her dress. I used some papers I had floating about & finished off the card with ribbon, a butterfly charm, sticky pearls, 2 peel off flowers & gems.

This card fits 4 challenges:-
Sketch Saturday - Sketch (of course lol)
Simon Says - Paper Piecing (it's the first time I've joined this challenge)
DewDrop Craftz - Photo for Inspiration (another first)
Creative Inspirations - Gems & Pearls

Managed Another Card :-)

Woo made another card today & I've done the ironing etc :-) This card was made for 3 challenges:-

Stamp with Stampavie - Sketch
The Next Level - Buttons & Bows
Just Magnolia- So Charming

This cute image was coloured in with Distress inks (wot no Prismacolors I hear you shout lol) & a bit of chalk. The papers are from Designs by Krista (I love her kits), I added ribbon & butterfly charm & button. The flowers are felt cut ou with Nesties & I stamped some text & used my flower punch & sewed the buttons on.

A Bit of Ultra Thick Enamelling

I really enjoyed making this card mainly because I did some heat embossing & some distressing which I haven't done for ages :-)

This card was made for 4 challenges:-
Everybody-Art - Sketch
Flutter By Wednesday - Buttons & Bows
Charisma Cardz - Buttons
Creative Card Crew - Ribbons

The papers are from Designs by Krista & the image was given to me by my dear friend Linda. The card is finished with a ribbon, button & greeting (found in stash). As it is my day off today I'm hoping to get some more crafting done but there is the ironing etc....

More Popcorn :-)

I've been playing with my new Popcorn the Bear CD again. This card was made for a new challenge I found:- Flutterby Wednesday- Open Theme (but to include a fairy or butterfly on your card).

This image is from the Floral CD & I used an insert for the backing paper, roses have clear gloss finish on them & the greeting is from Whiff of Joy. The card is finished off with a butterfly gem & some sticky pearls.

Hmm... I think I might have to invest in some Popcorn stamps :-)

Friday Freebie from Digital Delights

I just found this cool site Digital Delights offering Friday Freebies, this week it is a cute lil elf peeping out of a toadstool. I used their sketch to make this card & I'm trying to use up some of my (many) embellishments etc. The papers are scraps (apart from the blue which is from Papermainia's Sweet Nothings pad), I also used sticky ribbons, a chipboard flower & the corner & tab are from my endless Brenda Pinnock kit. The image is coloured in with Prismacolors for a change ;-)

Where Has the Weekend Gone?

Well that's another weekend nearly over again but I have enjoyed it (though I enjoy every weekend). I'm in the middle of making a "Toyota Yaris, Volkwagen Fox, Peugeot & Perodua" card for my special grandson Ryan who is absolutely crazy about cars & can recognise nearly every make/model (I'm not kidding and he's only 4 lol). Every week he gives me a request of what cars he would like on that weeks card bless him. Inbetween cutting & sticking cars I've managed to make this wedding card which fits 3 challenges:-

Creative Card Crew - Weddings
PaperPlay - Paper Roses (handmade flowers)
Papertake - Sketch

I stamped & embossed a wedding cake & used my Nesties for matting & layering, the flower is made with a small Nestie, punches & a sticky pearl & the card is finished off with ribbon & a peel off (! only another 300+ to use up lol). The cake image & the flower are 3d (that' the trouble with scanning you don't get the perspective, I must get a new camera).

Another Card!

I had really enjoyed making this card even though it is quite simple. This cute image is another from my dear friend Linda (of course coloured in with Prismacolors). The paper is from my Popcorn the Bear CD & I used my swiss dots embossing folder. It is finished off with some sticky pearls & a stamped cupcake greeting (which is coloured in with Sakura glitter pens).

It was made for 2 challenges:-

Sunday Sketch & Stamp - Sketch
Crafty Creations - Celebration

Phew just managed to finish it before I have to pick hubby up (he's been playing 10 pin bowling).

Whiff of Joy Challenge

I've had a lovely day today, poor hubby was working but it gave me the opportunity to do MORE crafting but I did have to wizz round with the hoover, wash the kitchen floor, do the washing etc... but I was super quick cos I had an incentive lol.

Anyway on to the card - this was made for the Whiff of Joy challenge which is 3 patterned papers, 3 flowers and 1 ribbon. I've had this fab stamp for ages but this is the first time I've got round to using it but I will definitely be using it lots more. She is coloured in with the usual Prismacolors, the papers are Papermania & The English Paper Co. I finished off with a little tag, a muffin sticker and a stamped greeting.
