Anything But A Card

 The new challenge at Jellypark Friends is "Anything But A Card" & this is one of my favourite challenges as I love making lots of different things :o)  I altered a old coaster using Jellypark's "Teacup With Rose Design" digital stamp which I printed onto pink DP & coloured with chalk.  The paper is from "The London Line" (Dovecraft I think).  I covered the paper & image with sticky back plastic (I tried Modge Podge but it didn't look as good).  Why not start making those Christmas pressies & join us :D

Canvas Me This!

Yes this week's Sentimental Sundays challenge is "Canvas Me This" (with a sentiment) & if you would like to have a go at this fabulous technique our wonderful sponsor Just Some Lines have a tutorial HERE :o)  I didn't have a canvas so I used an old coaster:  I painted the edges of the coaster with gold acrylic paint, added some DP with the corners rounded & used a torn strip for a border.  The image is JSL Petite Pot - Getting In which I coloured with ProMarkers, I finished it off with sequins, pearls & a stamped ticket (or & some glitter glue on the wings).  I can't use it for my cuppa on it now but it makes a nice decoration for my craft room windowsill :D

Let's Get Sentimental

This week's challenge at Sentimental Sundays is "Let's Get Sentimental".  I made another coaster, I love recycling (& upcycling) & making something old look new again :)  So I covered an old coaster with 2 scraps of DP, inked the edges of the coaster with Brilliance Galaxy Gold ink added some lace & a couple of gems.  The sentiment is by Rainbdrop Echo at Whimsy Stamps.  The DT have come up trumps as usual so there's plenty of inspiration for you :) (I forgot to say I did cover the coaster with Spray & Shine to make it more durable but you can't see this from the photo)

Focus on the Sentiment

This week's Sentimental Sundays challenge is "Focus on the Sentiment". I've made another coaster ( I have a matching pair now :)  ).  I used an old coaster, covered it with a couple of scraps of paper & added a lovely sentiment which is from Raindrop Echo.  I finished off with some peel off borders & 2 stamped, punched & glitter butterflies.  I made it waterproof by covering with clear sticky back plastic.  Don't forget to check out the other DT members creations for lots of inspiration & also the freebie (there's a new one every week).

Nice & easy challenge this week for you at Sentimental Sundays, "Anything Goes" (with a sentiment).  I have made a coaster using digi papers from Designs by Krista & that (very true) sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs at Whimsy Stamps.  I finished off with peel off borders & stamped, punched & glittered (though you can't tell from the photo) butterflies & covered with some sticky back plastic (to make it waterproof).  You have no excuse for playing along this week (apart from loss of mojo & I'm sure if you check out the other DT members creations you will get lots of inspiration).  Don't forget fab free sentiments every Sunday too!
