Favourite Christmas Present :o)

If like me you were lucky enough to get some crafty goodies for Christmas I wonder what your favourite was?  Mine was my huge glass cutting mat which is fab, not only for cutting but you can put your inks on it & blend them & everything just wipes off :o)  At the moment it has 2 part started cards on (& a few other bits & pieces that really need tidying lol).

While I'm here I'd like to share a card that I made for another friend using another pre-coloured Lili of the Valley topper, a heart doily, some die cut hearts & a mini envelope & I am proud to say I made the crochet flower myself (I'm proud cos I've wanted to be able to make these for ages & now I can!).

The challenges:
Lemon Shortbread - Anything Goes
Crafting With Friends - Anything Goes
QKR Stampede - Lots of Layers
Simply Papercraft - Anything Goes
Crafting With An Attitude - Anything Goes
DRS - Heart to Heart
Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes
Bunny Zoe - Hearts
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes
The Crazy Challenge - Celebrations
Craft Rocket - Happy Anything

I hope you're enjoying your weekend.  It freezing here, hubby's game of football was called off so we're now going to watch a movie, drink tea & eat cake :o)

Hi, Tracey! I'm in love with your new favorite Christmas present! Awesome! It makes for quick cleanup, too! Your card is great! I can definitely see why you chose the pre colored image! It's fun and beautifully done. The recipient of your card will thoroughly enjoy it! Hugs, de

Great present indeed. I did get gift cards, so I hope to trade them in soon. Lovely card and your flower is just perfect.

Lol...my wee, flimsy desk would need re-inforcing with RSJs in order to hold that Huuuuuuuge glass mat. I've just bought distress spray stains (I know...what was I thinking!!??) but a mat this size is probably something I should get to protect the rest of my desk, walls, carpet, rest of family...tee hee.
Great card as per xx

Yay for that huge glass mat! I love to work on a glass surface, and have them all over my room! Your card is lovely. The crocheted flower is so pretty, and the envelope of hearts works perfectly with the image.

The huge glass cutting mat is super - I have never tried a glass one, but I like the idea of using it for inking as well as cutting. It's now on my "most wanted" list!
Love your card too - the flower is fab. I have tried crochet - bought the books, been to a class, but still can't crochet anything that looks like a flower! Must try harder!
