Cupcake meets A Spoon Full of Sugar

I made this card for 2 challenges again: Cupcake which is "There's a Hole in my Bucket" so I used my Crop-A-Dile & added 2 star shaped eyelets with some organza ribbon threaded through. The challenge on A Spoon Full of Sugar is "Sparkle & Bling" & I used a cute Margaret Sherry decoupage image (which I got free with a magazine I think) & added lots of glitter glue & some sparkly stars. The papers are by Brenda Pinnock.

Papertake meets Tilda & Co

I made this Christmas card using the sketch from Papertake & the theme of "Over the Rainbow" which is the Tilda & Co challenge this week. I used a stripey rainbow coloured paper by Brenda Pinnock, the fab Christmas Edwin is another image from my dear friend Linda & I finished of with chipboard embellishments, some glitter glue & a brad.

My Very Own Stamp Design!

I made this card for the Friday Sketchers challenge. The Christmas tree stamp I used is one I designed! I won the Design a Stamp competition at Willow Designs & the prize was to have your image made into a stamp :o) I stamped & embossed the image & added gems & a glitter star brad, the papers are from Designs by Krista's Christmas Memories kit & the bell & greeting are from the lovely Kath.

Sketch Saturday

Hooray another Christmas card, still got loads to do but I'm really going to try & make more.

For this card I used the sketch from the Sketch Saturday challenge, the gorgeous WOJ image is from Kim (thanks hun), the papers are Pink Petticoat & I added glitter glue flowers & a brad.

Another Christmas & Birthday Card

Thank goodness for the Just Christmas & Birthday cards challenge to get me making at least 1 Christmas & 1 Birthday card a week lol (though I am way behind with my Christmas cards - it might be better if the challenge was just Christmas & Christmas cards). This week it is Karin's fab sketch.

The Birthday card is using Forever Friends papers & stamps which were a birthday pressie from my dear friend Linda. I finished this card off with a stamped greeting some flowers brads & a bear charm.

The Christmas card is made using HOTP paper & paper & image from Joanna Sheen's Victorian Christmas CD which I used a lot last year but this is my first card using it this year. I kept it quite simple just highlighting the image with a Sakura glitter gel pen, added some metal holly embellishments & finished off with 4 lil gems.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge

The Secret Crafter challenge this week is a sketch & so I made this Christmas card using it (I need to make lots more Christmas cards I've realised lol). I used gorgeous papers from Summer Driggs that are free to download. The Penny Black image is called "You Make Me Blush". The greeting is from Designer Digitals & I added flowers, brads, a ribbon, snowflake & glitter glue.

Oooh Zoe's just pointed out I've got the Season's Greetings on upside down lol - I have changed it but haven't changed the photo :o)

Halloween Treats

This is the box I made for Kaboodle Doodles challenge this week (which is Halloween & there is a free download for you to use).

I love making these Origami boxes - the instructions are here in case you want to have a go. I didn't have much candy in the house so I had to open a couple of packets of Maltesers lol (I've always got chocolate ;o) ).
Sorry about the rubbish photo, it's the first time I've used hubby's phone.

Saturday Challenge meets Dutch Dare

Just managed to fit in a card before bedtime (again).

This card was made with the Dutch Dare Sketch & the theme from Secret Crafter which is "Blue, White & a little bit of Snowflake!". I stamped & embossed the image twice & cut the star out, 3D it added gems & a peeloff. The papers are from Pink Petticoat (layered with silver glitter paper).

Cute Card Thursday

Wow! I can't believe it is Friday already :o( it has gone soo quick probably cos I've had the week off work & I've done hardly any crafting.

This card was made for Cute Card Thursday, their challenge this week is "The Stars at Night" I used papers from Designs by Krista's "Visions of Sugar Plums" kit. The Snowman stamp is one of my favourites by Printworks & is called "Frosty Smiles". I paper Pieced his hat scarf & the holly . I added some star brads, a Quickcutz snowman, gems & finished off with a Dovecraft stamped greeting.

(The sketch was from Friday Sketchers but I just missed the boat as they have already added a new one today lol).

Wiff of Joy Challenge 5

This card was made for the Wiff of Joy challenge 5 using Heather's fab sketch. The papers are from the English Paper Company (Festive Frost). I coloured Charlie with Snowballs in with Whispers pens & added glitter glue. The stamped greeting is by Dovecraft & I finished the card off with snowflakes & gems.

"Pimp" a Notebook

I "pimped" this notebook for the Double Dutch challenge - this is my first entry in this challenge & did enjoy until it all went horribly wrong lol. I got a streak of purple ink down Tilda's face, I tried rubbing it out & sanding it but this made it much worse & as it was a stamped image sent to me by my dear friend Linda I couldn't paper piece the face as I had no stamp to do this with so (as you can probably tell) I had to trace the face onto a piece of paper & improvise. I'm not happy with the results but wanted to enter the challenge so that's why I'm blogging it.

Ooh I forgot to say I used papers from Designs by Krista's May Flowers kit, lil flowers that were free with a mag, the charm is from a cheap bracelet I bought to disect, some prima flowers, brads, gems, See Ds Morsels "Connectors Collection", sticky ribbon & alphabet stickers

It will be a handy lil book to write in all the gorgeous crafty items I see that I would like while I'm surfing the net & maybe I'll get a few off Father Christmas (if I'm a good girl lol).

Christmas & Birthday Card

Well I've not managed to join in many challenges this last week but at least I've done the Just Christmas & Birthday Cards one using Linda's fab sketch.

The Birthday card was made using papers from Designs by Krista's Blossom kit, the stamp is In the Doghouse from Elzybells (coloured in with Twinkling H2Os), so I am using this card for the Crafty Creations challenge which this week is "Dogs & Puppies". I finished the card off with paw & bone buttons & ribbon.

The Christmas card was made using lil stamps from Dovecraft Designer Clear Stamps range, I added some punched snowflakes with stars & a gem for Rudolph's nose sorry I don't know where the papers are from as they were given to me by the lovely Kath.

Autumnal Card

Phew! I managed to make one card today & only just in time before bed lol.

I made this card with Autumn colours for the Wiff of Joy challenge & used the gorgeous "Melinda blowing Kisses" stamp (thank you Linda) & also for the Cute Card Thursday challenge which is "Autumn". The gorgeous papers are from Designs by Krista (I used papers from the Harvest & Daydream kits). The sketch is from Our Creative Corner.

I'm on hols this week so hopefully can catch up with a bit of crafting/blogging :o)

Rock 'n' Roll

Well it's week 8 of the Kaboodle Doodles challenge (where has the time gone?) & this week was very challenging for me lol (it would have been easier if I'd realised that you didn't have to make a Rock n Roll card it could also be your favourite song title).

Anyway in the end I used Kaboodle Doodles Boys Skulls & All Star kits added some clip art images, glitter star brads & a stamped Juke Box.

Just Christmas & Birthday Cards

Well it's my day off today & I had to go the dentist how cruel is that lol I really hate the dentist. To top it all I had to bike & it was raining so hard I got soaked through. At least that is over until next year. The day is going way too quick (as it always does).

Luckily I've managed to make 2 cards for a new challenge I found via my pal Linda (well I actually made the Christmas one on Monday but needed to blog them together). The challenge blog is called Just Christmas & Birthday Cards & you make a Christmas & Birthday card each week with their sketches. My Christmas card was made with HOTP papers (I think), the stamp I used is from Paper Artsy & I finished off with ribbon & 2 trees I cut from some ribbon.

For the birthday card I used some gorgeous papers called "Ladies of Leisure" from the English Paper Company. I finished this card off with more ribbon, flowers, brads & a stamped greeting.

3 More Challenges :o)

Hooray, can't believe I managed to make a card cos I am so tired after my early morning start at work lol.

I used the 2 Sketches 4 You sketch, the theme on Cupcake this week is "Turn up the Heat" & the challenge on Lots to Do is "Embossing". I made this Christmas card with a stamped & embossed angel coloured in with Sakura glitter gel pens, added some brads, a large snowflake & some ribbon. The papers are from Brenda Pinnock & Shabby Princess (I think). Ooh I nearly forgot the Dutch Dare challenge this week is Christmas :o) So the title should be "4 More Challenges" lol.

Secret Crafter meets Penny Black

I just about managed to fit in another card though it is getting late & I have to be at work at 8.00 am in the morning :o(.

This card is a Thank You card which is the theme on Penny Black Saturday & I used the sketch from Secret Crafter. the stamp is "arrangement!" by Margaret Sherry for Penny Black, the Thank You is from my huge Brenda Pinnock box & I finished off with buttons & ribbons.

Ooh I forgot to say tthe gorgeous papers are from Designs by Krista & the kit is called "Mother's Joy".

Kaboodle Doodles - Tags Challenge

The theme on Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog this week is "Tags".

I made my tag with the Kaboodle Doodles Green & Party Picnic kits. I added a cute squirel stamped image (I got it on e-bay ages ago &I've no idea who it's by but I do love it), some organza ribbon & a chipboard greeting. I'm going to have to put it on a card I think though as I don't know what else to do with it lol.

WOJ Challenge 3

I've had a fab day out today with my son, the cinema & then lunch :o) but can't believe how quickly the time goes (especially at the weekends).

I did fit in making a card using the fab Whiff of Joy sketch. I used my one of my favourite Willow images ("with hot chocolate")- they are all so gorgeous they're nearly all favourites lol. The papers are from HOTP & I used self adhesive lace, flowers, tag & stamped greeting.

Not a Card!

I've been wanting to dabble in jewellery making for a while now. I made this bracelet & earrings & thought they were ok but nothing special. I showed them to my Kaboodle Doodles DT pal Steph & she said she liked them & I should enter them in the Crafty Creations (formally known as SBS 18) challenge this week which is Autumn (cos they are autumnal colours) so thats what I'm doing lol. I've bought a few more beads & bits & pieces so hopefully will be able to make a few more pieces :o)

5 Challenges :o)

I've (I think) managed to combine 5 challenges this time which is very good cos I've not had much time for crafting again this week.

The sketch is another fab one from Sketch Saturday. The theme on ABC is "L for Lace". A Spoon Full of Sugar's challenge this week is "Pink & Green Colour Scheme". The theme over at Cute Card Thursday is "Buttons & Bows" & Stamp Something's challenge is "Friendship".

The gorgeous image is from my good pal Linda, I used HOTP papers & finished off with a Defining Moment sentiment.

Sketch Saturday Challenge

I did manage to fit in making one card yesterday but didn't have time to blog it as the glitter glue was still wet.

I made this Christmas card using the Sketch Saturday sketch. The papers are from Brenda Pinnock & the stamp is "Snow Greeting" from Stampendous! I added snowflakes, gems, ribbon & holly to finish the card off.

House Mouse meets Secret Crafter

Still struggling a bit & I don't really like this card. But the sun is shinning & I've got the day off work so hopefully I can get a bit of crafting done (in between the chores lol).

I made this card using the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge sketch, it's their first week so I really wanted to try to enter :o). The theme of the House Mouse challenge this week is "Halloween, or Halloween colours". As i haven't got any Halloween House Mouse stamps I opted for Halloween colours & used the new Halloween kit from Kaboodle Doodles. The stamp is called "Chocolate Heart" (I coloured the wrapper purple to go with the papers & cos it is the colour of my fav chocolate's wrapper lol) I also used a brad, eyelets, ribbon, primas, gems & Stampin Up! Rivin' greeting stamp.

Lost Mojo & 6 Challenges

Isn't it marvelous when I have the time for a bit of crafting I can't get inspired. I've been moving papers about rummaging through embellishments & stamped images but couldn't make anything apart from a mess lol!

Eventually I did make this Christmas card which is for 6 (yes 6, at least I hope I've got them all right) - it was going to be 5 but I've just realised Ooh-la-la is "Wings" & I have a lil Robin on my card :o)- Which is good because I haven't had time for hardly any challenges this week.

I used the sketch from A Spoon Full of Sugar, Cute Card Thursday's challenge is "Christmas Animals" so I used this cute lil bird stamp (hmmm just had a thought will a bird class as an animal lol, oh well). Arty Girlz challenge is "Red", Daring Cardmakers is "What a Lot of Scallops" (though unfortunately I haven't got a punch I had to cut them out by hand) & Our Creative Corner is "Bling" (to use anything shiny) & as you can see my red paper is very shiny & so are the gold snowflakes & brad & I added a lil gem.

Kaboodle Doodles Sketch Challenge

I can't believe the rain it is just torrential. The drs surgery where I work was flooded a couple of months back & we still haven't got any carpets down cos it's taken this long for the floors to dry out. Fingers crossed we don't get flooded again (but I supose it's better now than just after they put the new carpets down). Hubby's footy was called off but hopefully I can still fit in a lil crafting today though we have got to go shopping :o(.

Anyway on to the card; this week's Kaboodle Doodles challenge is a sketch. For my card I used this fab "Giddy Up!" stamp by Elizabeth Bell. The papers are & Superstar tag are from Kaboodle Doodles "All Star" kit. To finish the card off I cut out a star from the papers, covered it with glossy accents & star brads.

Apple Card

I've not had much time for crafting this week as work has been soo busy & I had to work today 8.00 - 1.30 cos we had Flu clinics. I did manage to make my DT card for tomorrows Kaboodle Doodles challenge but only just lol....

And I made this is a strange card lol. I found a lil challenge on Jen's blog "Torn Paper" to make a card with an apple theme (well at least to have an apple/s on your card lol). So I used my papers/elements from Nitwit Collections can't remember the name it's something like "on the farm". I got a huge pile of chipboard embellishements from QVC for my birthday & used the apple from these. The stamped greeting is from Cuddly Buddly.

Classic Christmas Card

I must admit I prefer contemporary Christmas cards but do still like to see traditional cards too. This card was made for the Cupcake Craft Challenge which this week is "Christmas" & I used the sketch from the Papertake Weekly challenge.

The gorgeous papers are from Designs by Krista Christmas Memories kit. I stamped & embossing (& made lots of mess lol) a poinsettia with holly & ribbon & also a greeting on to velum. I finished of with a ribbon & brad.
