I've just found this fab challenge (you can never have too many challenges imo lol): All That Scraps & their challenge this week is to make a tall card. For my card I used cute Miss Anya image which I paper pieced her dress & bow. I added some punched & inked flowers embellished with gems & pearls. The paper is from Designer Digitals & I finished the card off with a greeting from Pink Petticoat. I'm also entering this card for the Charisma Cardz challenge which is "Daisies"& Caardvarks "A Tall Order".
I'm still achy but slightly better (I got knocked off my bike on Friday) at least it is Sunday so I can have a nice rest & do a bit of crafting. Have you seen the fab new images by Sally-Ann at the Digi Boutique? Well if you haven't check them out here, aren't they fab & you get 4 fab images for £2.25.
This card was made using my oval Nesties, Papermania papers, EK Sucess border punch, peel off greeting, bow, pearls, lots of glitter glue & the snowflakes I recycled from some of last years cards lol. It was made for the Digi Stamp Boutique Blog October competition & also I used the Three Clovers Designs sketch, the Cute Daisy May theme is "Love" & the challenge over at La-La Land is "Sparkle".
I have had the most traumatic day today :-( I start work at 7.45 am on Fridays & always bike to work but unfortunately this morning I got knocked off my bike, the car came straight out the end of the road, didn't look & hit me. I was so shook up but was grateful I could get up & walk. The driver did stop to ask me how I was & I am soo annoyed cos I didn't get his details. I thought my bike was ok until I started to ride the handle bar was twisted but at least I managed to bike to work. Once the shock wore off I started to ache & now everything is hurting.
At least I managed to do a bit of crafting this evening which took my mind off all the stress. This card was made using Zoe's fab sketch for Willow Sketchie. The papers are from Scrapbook Mad & that gorgeous image is by Toodles & Binks. I stamped & cut out some flowers & added buttons to the centres. I'm off to bed hoping I have a better day tomorrow lol.
What a horrible rainy day it is today but at least it's my day off & I haven't got anything to do apart from crafting (& a bit of housework but there's ALWAYS housework lol). It is getting really cold now though so I think the heating will have to go on soon.
This card was made using the Friday Sketchers fab sketch. The papers are from Designer Digitals which I inked around the edges & punched a border with my EK success punch.I used another Pink Cat Studio digi image ( I luv these soo much). The finishing touches are die cut swirls & flowers with a button & thread & the greeting is from Pink Petticoat.
I love Miss Anya & the challenge on the Anyone for Anya? blog this week is "Autumn Colours". I used papers from Designs by Krista which I distressed. The sketch is from A Spoon Full of Sugar (just got in in time I hope as there will be a new challenge tomorrow) & the challenge from the Charisma girls is "Distressing". The finishing touches are ribbon, flowers & a leaf charm.
The papers are Papermania (I think), the angel is coloured in with Twinkly H20s & glitter added to her wings. The card is quite simply & just finished off with a padded fabric star, some gems & a greeting.
The challenge at PaperPlay this week is to use your favourite embellishment & this got me thinking could you have just "one"? The conclusion I came to is NO lol, well I can't anyway I love charms & flowers & gems (& quite a few other things too).
For this card I used the fab sketch from Bee Crafty, the papers are from SBM. This cute image is from Pink Cat Studio's new digi downloads (check them out they are fab!) I'm definitely going to be getting more of these. The flowers are a range of punched & felt (cut from a border) & the card is finished with ribbon, charms, gems & a stamped greeting. I'm also entering this for the Stamp Something challenge which is "Bling".
What a great idea this is "Scrap Online" (SOL) & Marlene hosted one on Wednesday. The idea (if I can manage explain it) is that the host posts on their blog the sizes of card stock & papers that are needed the day before so you can have these all cut ready to assemble your card. Then on the day/start time of the SOL the first step to make your card is posted & then further steps are posted every 5 minutes.
This card fits Kraftin' Kimmie's 2nd challenge which is "Buttons". The papers are DCWV, Pocket Full of Posies, the image is Miss Anya (I love these images) and the card is finished with flowers, buttons, ribbon, greeting & pearls.
This was a quick(ish) card made with the last Daisy & Dandelion TSV from QVC. The Christmas tree has been glittered. Ribbon, glittered flowers, gems & stamped greeting finish the card off. I started making this card a couple of days ago (see not so quick lol) with the Friday Sketchers sketch but it is due to change today, hopefully I got in just in time.
This cute little fairy is a stamp from Cuddly Buddly, I paper pieced her dress, hat & cake, the papers are Designer Digitals (again, I can't stop using these a the mo - it's funny how you have phases of using the same bits & pieces). I can't stop using my sewing machine either as you will see. The fairy's wings have been glittered & the finishing touches are buttons, swirls flowers & a greeting.
This card was made for 3 challenges:
Well it is a while since I've done any ultra thick embossing but I do like the finished result. This image was stamped, coloured in & then embossed which gives a lovely glossy shine but unfortunately I failed to capture this in the photo lol. The papers are from Designs by Krista (I also cut out the flowers & butterfly too). I finished the card off with a stamped greeting, pearls, ribbon & a charm.
This card fits 6 challenges:
Here is ANOTHER filofax that I made for a friend. The papers are from my scraps (but are Designer Digitals I think), the cute doggy image is from Pink Petticoat. Pretty much same formula as before: Nesties, punched flowers, border punch (this time EK success) & finished off with pearls.
This fits 2 challenges:
I am trying to use up some of the thousands of scraps of paper that I have all over the place. The images are from Pink Petticoat, I've used my Nesties, Martha Stewart Lace border punch, buttons ribbons, punched & inked flowers finished off with gems.
I'm entering the red one for the Gingersnap Creations challenge - Bling.
I made this card using the fab download I won from the Willow Sketchie challenge called "A Walk in the Park". I coloured her with Prismacolor pencils. I used my sewing machine again (I can't stop using it lol). The papers are Papermania & the card is finished off with a flower made from Nesties & Glamour Dust added, ribbon, brads & a greeting.
