Card for a Very Special Woman

Today's Sentimental Sunday Challenge is "For a Special Woman".  As this side of the pond we have already celebrated Mothers Day (& sadly my Mum is no longer with us) I wanted to share a card a made for a very special person & dear friend who has been battling breast cancer & has been so strong & positive:  Jennifer Scull. The image I used was designed especially for Jennifer by Jellypark's wonderful illustrator Claire Keay. It is still available for purchase HERE & 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this image go to charity!  I coloured the image with chalk & finished the card with a big ribbon, some buttons & personalised sentiment (also by Claire).  Our fab sponsor for this challenge is Delicious Doodles.  I hope you will join us & make a card for a special woman in your life, I also hope you will pop over to Jennifer's wonderful blog & show her some lurve :o)

The challenges:
Chalk N Stock - Anything Goes (with chalk)
Simply Create Too - Anything Goes
Scrappy Frogs - Free Choice
Stampin' for the Weekend - Button It Up
My Mum's Craft Shop - Spots or Stripes
Fussy & Fancy - Anything Goes

I hope you're enjoying the weekend.  We had to buy a new hoover yesterday (not very exciting lol) as our stopped working & we did get some more bits & pieces for the hols (much more exciting!) :D  Hopefully we're going to go & see our youngest son (Stuart) this evening & have a takeaway.
