I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend.  We had an amazing day yesterday visiting our son, dil & precious grandchildren.  Today was spent shopping & catching with housework & I did manage to to do a little bit of crafting - the weekend has flow by  though (they always do unfortunately).  Oooh & luckily all the snow has gone so it will be safe for my bike ride to work tomorrow :D yay!

Everyone's Favourite at The Paper Shelter

Yes, this week's challenge at The Paper Shelter is "Anything Goes" & I used another one of my favourite images (they are nearly all my favourites lol), this one is called "Coffee Break" (which is exactly what I'm going to have when I've finished blogging this as my hands are freeezing!).  The papers are from MME Howdy Dowdy paper stack & I used my Martha Stewart border punch & finished off with a doily & lots of flowers (couldn't decide what sentiment to use so I didn't use any).  As always we have our gift certificate up for grabs at our challenges. It's worth $30 and it can be yours is if you play with a TPS image and is drawn by Mr Random. Playing with another brand gives you the chance of winning three digis of your choice, so it's a win, win situation :D

Sentimental Sundays is Back!

Yep, the Sentimental Sundays challenge is back after it's Christmas & New Year break & we have some wonderful new Design Team members too :D  The new challenge is "Negative Spaces" (check out the fab DT's designs for lots of examples - that's what I did lol).  My card is very simple, we are sponsored by Chickydoodle & were lucky enough to be given some gorgeous washy tape to work with (this is what I used under my heart).  I used a Nestibilities heart die & some Kraft card - simples!

Brrrrrr...It's Cold Outside

I hope you've all had a wonderful week, mine has been very busy so I'm really glad it's the weekend :D  We have had lots of snow so I had to walk to work yesterday instead of using my trusty bike  & it took ages but it was nice & quiet at 7.30 am (not so quiet or nice when I finished at 5 pm though). So you see Di's Digi Challenge "Winter" theme this week is very apt .  I used another of Di's fabulous coloured images (I love these for quickness + the colouring much nicer than mine), this one is called "Owls Carol".  I finished my card with ribbon, embroidered greeting & I used my new Lil' Inker Designs bow die with glitter card.  This week our wonderful sponsor is The Cutting Cafe & hope you will be able to join us :D

I'm so glad it's Friday, it has been such a busy week, I hope you've all had a great week & are looking forward to the weekend.  I'm hoping to have a sort through my crafty stash & sort some to sell on eBay (to earn pennies to buy more crafty stuff!) & get some crafting done with my new Christmas goodies :D

Friday means new releases at Jellypark & this cute image I've used is called "Fairy With Wand", I coloured her with Prismacolor pencils & added some Glamour Dust to her wings, the papers were a freebie with a mag.  I made some rolled flowers & finished off with gems, a greeting & some stamping.  The Jellypark Friends challenge is "Winter Animals" & I hope you will find time to join us :o)

Flower Extravaganza!

I hope you're having a wonderful week.  It is great getting back into my crafting I have really missed it (it is such a stress reliever & how work is at the moment I really need it lol).

Getting Back to Normal...

when I say normal I mean getting back to crafting, it seems ages since I've done any proper crafting though I must admit after the craft fayres & business of Christmas & New Year I just haven't had the time & it has been quite nice to have a break, I'm now really starting to miss it though so hopefully I can fit a lot more crafting in than of late :D  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas & New Year.

I'm not quite back to normal cos I am late getting my DT project in for Di's Digi Challenge which started yesterday (I keep losing track of time/dates lol)  & it was a tricky one for me "Try Something New" cos I've been crafting what seems like forever I have tried most things that I fancied but I have made a little hand sewn book with some gorgeous My Minds Eye double sided papers & I used Di's "Izzy With Little Bird" coloured image (yes coloured, did you know Di also does coloured images? Perfect if like me you're often short of time).  I finished the book with a punched border, lace, buttons & stamped sentiment.  I also made a matching bookmark as I liked the papers so much :)  I hope you can join us & our fabulous sponsor is Crafty Sentiments.
