Sentimental Sundays Challenge

This week's challenge at Sentimental Sundays is "Make Your Own Flowers".  I love this fairy image which is a stamp from Lili of the Valley & I haven't used it for ages so it was nice to ink it up.  For a change I used Distress Inks to colour the image (I like using them but I definitely need to practice a bit more).  The papers are from my stash & the ticket is a stamp by Raindrop Echo from Whimsy Stamps.  The flowers are made by punching a circle, cutting a spiral, curling it up & adding 2 punched & embossed leaves.  I finished the card with ribbon, charms, gems & Glamour Dust.  There are some amazing creations from the DT so you should get lots of inspiration for your flowers & don't forget there are free sentiments every week & the DT call is still on so if you want to be part of a fab n friendly team why not give it a go :o)

The challenges:
Lili Of The Valley - Ribbons & Bows
Dutch Dare - Winged Things
Creative Inspirations - Glitzy & Bling
Pixie Dust - Make It Shiny
Paperminutes - Wings
Freshly Brewed - Photo Inspiration
Frosted Designs - Ribbon or Twine
Sew Many Cards - Anything Goes
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle - Old Supplies (stamp & papers)
Designed 2 Delight - Handmade May Flowers
2 Sisters - How Does Your Garden Grow?
Really Reasonable Ribbon - Anything Goes

Ooh before I go I must tell you that if you remember in my last week's Sentimental Sundays post I had been given a fabulous digital sentiment set from Raindrop Echo to give to one lucky random commenter & that is (fanfare...) Lisa from Lisa's Paper Addiction.  Congratulations Lisa & if you email sentimentalsundays@raindropecho.com & we will get your prize sorted for you.

HAHA!! I've been making rolled flowers this morning & mine look nothing like yours. I rolled them then sqaushed them between 2 cuttlebug plates to get them to lie flat enough on the card. I just can't get the hang of how to make them & still get the card in the envelope. I'll be using Parcel Force otherwise!!! SO, you card is beautiful, said with a 'jealous' tear in my eye xxxx
