Inspired by a Song at Sentimental Sundays

I'm a bit late with my post this week as I went to visit my son & his family in Kent yesterday & got snowed in so had to stay overnight (it was lovely to spend some extra time with them but now I am so behind with things).  This week's Sentimental Sundays challenge is "Inspired by a Song" - my song is "Sweets for my Sweet" by the Searchers.  This is actually the card I made for my Daughter-in-Law Zoe.  I used a digi image from Digi Stamp Boutique (& appropriately enough it is called Zoe with Chocolate lol) which I coloured with ProMarkers, I used 2 stamped sentiments: the someone special one is from a See Ds set & the other one is from Inkadinkado "Kid's Quotes" (I love these & don't know why I don't use them more).  The papers are Basic Grey & I finished off with a flower made by dissecting a cheap bunch of artificial flowers & a brad.  The DT have come up trumps again this week so why not check their blogs out for loads more inspiration.

The challenges:
Fun With Shapes - Scalloped
Aly's - Anything Goes
Totally Gorjuss - For Someone Special
Sweet Stampin - Celebrations
Meljens - Sweet as Candy (or Cookies)
I Did It - Anything Goes
Allsorts - Anything Goes
DigiStamp Boutique - Use Their Images

Hope you've all had a great weekend :)

Hi there

I am thrilled you have joined in my "Free and Easy" theme at Allsorts this fortnight and confess to being astounded by the huge response this weekend.

I usually like to visit every entry and say a few words about their creations, but the sheer volume so far along with the Christmas preparations we all have to juggle means this is a "copied and pasted" message, for which I apologise.

Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and wonderful holiday time.
