There's Magic In The Air :-)

I've just found this fab new challenge blog - There's Magic In The Air. There is a free download for you to use :-) for this week's challenge (together with "Ribbon & Bow"). His name is Eldon & he's a worm (I think). The sketch is from Truly Scrumptious (& they have an extra challenge of using 3 stamps but as you can see I didn't do this, or even use 1 lol). The papers are from Papermania, the image is coloured with Prismas & the card is finished off with a greeting, ribbon, punched flowers & leaves & some gems.

Another Christmas Card!
Thank goodness for weekends :-) especially when I don't have to work (we do one in 3 Saturdays). I'm extra glad I'm not working today as it's the 1st Flu clinic (I work in a Drs Surgery) & instead of being open 8.00-11.30 it is 8.00-1.30 so phew to that lol!
This image from Pink Cat Studio was given to be by the lovely Zoe (thanks hun can I have some more of this one pls). I coloured it with Prisma pencils & used lots of Glamour Dust on the snowman. The papers are called Jolly Lil Friends & are by Mindy Terasawa (from Designer Digitals again). The card is finished off with a chipboard Christmas tree, the greeting is from SBM & cut out with my Nesties. Oh I nearly forgot I used my new EK Success border punch again too :-)
This card fits 3 Challenges: A Spoon Full of Sugar - Sketch

Pretty in Pink!
Die Cut Dreams are having a DT call & they are asking for Pink cards/projects. I hope this counts as there is a bit of green (I love pink & green together). Anyone for Anya's challenge is "Funky Flowers", the big flower is made from 2 punched flowers & a rose with an added charm. I used my sewing machine again to sew the lace on, the papers are Designer Digitals (again I'm really loving these at the moment). I also used another new EK Success border punch & finished the card off with a charm. The sketch is from Creative Inspirations.

5 Challenges :-)
I've had a great day off today. I got a sewing machine for my birthday & have been playing with it :-) This card is made using Designer Digitals "Little Tea House" papers & I used my new EK Success punch (also for my birthday) for the border which I stitched to the card & I sewed a button to 2 punched flowers. The stamp is from Cuddly Buddly & was a present from my darling little granddaughter Abigial (I think she had a bit of help ordering it lol) & the card is finished off with a greeting, brad & a bit of Glamour Dust.
This card fits 5 Challenges:Carol's Sketch Fun - Sketch
Cute Daisy May - Texture
Flutter By - Butterfly or Fairy & Flowers
Simon Says Stamp - Stitch it Up!
Stamp Something - Favourite Colours or Papers (well I love these papers & green is my fav colour closely followed by pink & baby blue)
I also made a tote bag & I am really pleased with it (ignore the material lol it is an old pillowcase - I didn't want to use decent material for my first attempt).

House Mouse meets Sketch & Stash
Luckily I've been on holiday this week (I really needed a break from work) & even better it was my birthday on Wednesday & I got some fantastic crafting goodies :-) My dear friend Linda bought me (among other things) this fantastic House Mouse Stamp called "With All My Heart" & as it was her wedding anniversary I used it to create this card for her (& her hubby David of course). The image was coloured in with chalk, I used the gorgeous Designer Digital papers again & finished the card off with ribbon, flower, button & greeting. This week's challenge at House Mouse is "A Year in Review" & I chose Challenge 40 - "Wedding/Anniversary" & I followed the Sketch & Stash Sketch.

A work colleague is going on maternity leave & I was asked to make her a card for us all to sign. It was meant to be lemon lol but it ended up being pink & blue (though the hammock is lemon). The papers are from HOTP, the image is Penny Black & the flower is made with my Nesties. Other bits & pieces are: eyelet, button, ribbon & rub on greeting.
