Trim the Tree!

I thought I'd have a change from making cards (not that I've made that many lately) & when I saw the instructions to make these cute lil Birdhouse Christmas tree decorations (or you could make them for any occasion) I had to have a go at making them & I'm really pleased with how they turned out :o) It reminded me how much I enjoy paper crafting as well as card making & hopefully I will have time in the New Year to do some more.

You can find the instructions on Capture the Moment's blog & there are lots of other instructions & inspiration there too. I used gorgeous papers (printed onto card) from Designs by Krista's Christmas Memories & Chilly kits. The instructions use Nestabilities but as I haven't got these I used scalloped edge scissors.

These decorations are also my entry for this week's Double Dutch challenge which is to make a Christmas tree ornament.

Fabulous birdhouses Tracey! Thank you so much for playing along in our challenge! I had to pick one, because we have one entry per person, and I'm totally in love with the lilac one so I've put that one in the album. If you'd prefer to enter the other one, let us know!

Hugs,
Erica
