Happy Weekend everyone!  We started the weekend in the best possible way: breakfast out with friends :o) This Valentine's card was made for my InLaws, they are lovely people.  They have bought us flowers & chocolates & are cooking us a Valentine's meal tomorrow.  I made a little box & decorated the inside just to make it look a bit more special.

Hubby's Valentine Card

I saw this digital paper pack online & thought they would be good to use for my hubby Mark's Valentine's card.  I do like pockets on cards & made this one with a die cut heart filling it with elements cut from the same paper pack.  I recently bought some die cut words & just simply put "Valentine".  I added some gold ink to the edges.

Do you remember the song Love is in the Air by John Paul Young (I had to look up who sang it), it was 1978 so I was 15.  Today there are some fabulous new releases at All Dressed Up & I chose this gorgeous Love Birds image & thought it would be perfect for the InLaws anniversary next month :o)  I kept it simple with a bit of paper piecing.
