New Sentimental Sundays Challenge

Today's Sentimental Sundays challenge is "Stitching (real or faux, with a sentiment).  I did lots of random machine stitching on my card (I love this look) & luckily the sewing machine was already threaded with the perfect matching thread to my papers :D.  I did some distressing around the edges of the papers (which are digi), the image is from Pink Petticoat (coloured with ProMarkers) & I finished the card with some lace, a punched tag & a gem.  Our sponsor this week is Meljens so you could win yourselves some wonderful images.

I hope you're having a nice weekend, I haven't been up to much (well it has been very cold with the occasional snow flurry), just snuggling up with hubby (his football match was called off), watching TV & drinking tea :o)  I really must try & start tidying my craft room today though I can't find anything!

Fabulous New Releases at Jellypark

I am sooo lucky to be on the Jellypark design team & get to work with Claire's wonderful images :o)  This week's adorable new images are "King for a Day" & the one I used which is "Ewe are so Sweet Sheep".  I coloured the image with ProMarkers, the papers are digi & I finished off with a punched fence border, punched sun, button & pearl.  There is a new challenge at Jellypark Friends today too which is "Pretty Pastels".

Let It Be Spring! {pleeeeze}

Well we don't have snow now - just torrential rain lol,  This week challenge at The Paper Shelter is "Let It Be Spring",  I love this new image called "I am the Easter Bunny!".  I used the coloured image & just highlighted a few bits.  The papers are digi & I finished the card off with some punched corners, punched flowers with card candy middles and a peel off.

Spring is Coming! (hopefully)

This week's Di's Digi Challenge is Easter/Spring.  Easter is quite early this year but I'm hoping the snow will have finished by then (we can't seem to get rid of it this year).  The image I used my card is called "Are You The Easter Bunnie?" & I coloured it with ProMarkers & finished with some peel off Easter eggs, banner, brad, lace, ribbon & some stitching.  The papers are from The Paper Shelter.   We are sponsored by The Cutting Cafe & hope you will have time to join us :o)

Sentimental Sundays Challenge

Today the challenge at Sentimental Sundays is "3 Embellishments Beginning with B" (+ a sentiment).  I used buttons, bow & brads.  We are sponsored by A Day for Daisies & the DT were lucky enough to chose an image each to work with :o)  I chose "Owl Nephew", as you can see my card is very CAS I coloured the image with ProMarkers & cut an aperture with my Nesties.  (Sorry my photo is so bad, it was snowing when I took it - I will try & get a better one tomorrow).

Happy Mother's Day to those of you who are celebrating today.  We took the In Laws out for a meal (it is their anniversary today as well) & our youngest son Stuart came :o) (our eldest son Craig lives quite a way away & unfortunately my Mum is no longer with us) & very tasty it was too (+ no washing up, always a bonus!).  What ever you're doing I hope you're having a lovely day - it's just a shame that the weekends go sooo quickly.

New Releases at Jellypark

Today there are 2 wonderful new release at Jellypark & for my card I used "Two Love Birds" & I paper pieced the birds & coloured the rest with ProMarkers.  The paper was free with a mag & I finished off with pearls, doily, die cut corners & a computer generated greeting.  The other new release is called "Time for Tea", check out the other DT members creations to see this gorgeous image.  As it's Friday it's also time for a new challenge at Jellypark Friends which is "Bunny Hop" & I hope you will be able to join us for this - perfect for getting a start on those Easter cards ;)

Thank goodness for a day off & I really need it today as still feeling rough from this silly cold (I think it's Man Flu lol cos it's really knocked me for 6) & it was such a long day at work yesterday.  I have so much to do today as I was poorly at the weekend & didn't get anything on my To Do list done (keep your fingers crossed that I have a productive day today :D ).

Sentimental Sundays Fairies Challenge

Well actually the new Sentimental Sundays challenge is "Fairies with Wings" but I have never seen a fairy without wings lol. The image I used is a new one from The Paper Shelter called "Make a Wish" (& it is a new favourite, I have soo many lol).  The actual card is recycled from a card I made previously with just a few tweaks, I did this because I have a stupid cold & it's hard to craft when your eyes are watering, nose running & your sneezing all over everything :o(  I did lots of machine stitching, added ribbon, charms, punched butterflies, flowers & gems.  Our fab sponsor this time is "Crafty Sentiments Designs".  If you love fairies as much as I do I hope you will join us (& even if you don't, I hope you will still join us ;o)
