Funny Princess

She may be funny but she is so cute too don't you think & she is one of the "Funny Princess" new releases at StampFairy today.  I coloured her with ProMarkers & paper pieced her dress & the frog.  The window is a fab background digi from Di's Digi Downloads which is also coloured with ProMarkers & some Glamour Dust added to the flowers.  The paper is from Designer Digitals.  I finished off  the card off with some lace, gems, ribbons, punched border & die cut corners.  I love this image & think she may now be my favourite image now (though with so many to choose from it is hard).  If you're looking for inspiration the DT have lots of lovely creations for you to check out & don't forget the StampFairy weekly challenge too.  Oops & I nearly forgot to mention there is a free digi image every Friday!

Just a Quick One...

Fab new digi images released as always on a Monday from Paper Pretties.  The one I've used is called "Sweet Treat".  As I've got very little time for crafting at the moment I just made a quick bookmark using Kraft card, some paper from Scrapbooking Mad & some ribbon.  I coloured the image with ProMarkers & finished off with a few seed beads (they're meant to be the sprinkles on the ice-cream but I'm not quite sure they work lol) finishing off with a couple of peel offs.

Wow that is a long title but I will explain:

1st Happy Easter! I hope you're all enjoying yourselves.

2nd we have 2 Paper Pretties girls with birthdays & there is a Blog Hop to celebrate.  If you have joined in the Hop you should have come from Nancy's fab blog.  I'm sorry that I haven't had time to make anything for the Hop but as I said in my previous post we have the grandchildren staying so I've barely got time to write this lol (though I will have a little something made tomorrow with one of the new digi releases) & next in line is Janet - then it is the 2 birthday girls: Dominique & Cindy (Happy Birthday Girls!).  If you want to start the Hop from the beginning you need to go HERE.

Last but definitely not least is the new challenge at Sentimental Sundays, I haven't made a card for the reason mentioned above but want to remind you that the theme this week is to use 3 or more punches & as always there is the weekly freebie & why not check out the fabulous DT creations too :)

StampFairy Christmas

Yes I know it's early but at least it's another card done :D  & this cute Muffins Angel which is one of the new releases today at StampFairy lends itself perfectly to Christmas.  Don't forget there is a freebie every Friday too!  Ooh & the half price sale which is now on ends at midnight on Sunday so you need to stock up asap.  The papers I used are from Dovecraft & I glittered the edges.  The image was coloured in with ProMarkers with more Stickles for the wings, I finished off with a greeting, 2 punched stars & 2 star brads.

Stampin' for the Weekend - Wedding Theme

There is a Wedding theme for the challenge this time on SFTW (apparently there is a big wedding next week here in the UK ;) ).  My card was made for a golden wedding celebration (& in case you're wondering about where the stamping comes in the butterfly was punched & stamped).  Both the punches are from Martha Stewart & I just did some matting & layering & finished off with ribbon, gems & a computer generated greeting.  The other DT members creations are stunning so I hope you will check them out for more inspiration :)

Alice In Wonderland

When I was a little girl Alice in Wonderland was my favourite book & it had such wonderful pictures & was so magical.  I saw this digi image from Pink Cat Studio "Lily as Alice" & had to get it (I've had it ages but this is the first chance I've had to use it).  I coloured her with ProMarkers, the papers are from DCWV, the stamp I've had for ages & I finished off with die cut corners, punched heart & butterfly, heart pin with added seed beads, flowers, ribbon, lace & pearls.

Thinking of You

There are 2 new digital images at Paper Pretties today,  I've used "Roses" but "Crocuses" is the other image is equally beautiful.  I coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils & printed the rose heads out again & did the "cracked glass technique" (with a sprinkling of Glamour Dust) & added some dimension using silicon glue.  The DP is from Designs by Krista & I used my new Marianne Creatables die finishing off with some lace, ribbon, greeting & a couple of gems.

Easter Basket (Mark 2)

I made an Easter basket a few weeks back which I'm giving to my lil granddaughter Abigail & so obviously I had to make one for her brother Ryan :o)  The Sentimental Sundays challenge this week is Easter/Spring (with a sentiment) & I used my Ultimate Pro (it makes boxes so quickly), the bunny image paper was a free download from Printable Heaven & the image is from Paper Pretties & called "A Basket For You" coloured with ProMarkers.  I finished off with a "Hoppy Easter" tag which is a freebie from StampFairy, an eyelet, some ribbon, a punched butterfly & some gems.

Windmill for StampFairy

I love making cards but I also like making other things (in fact I love making lots of different things, unfortunately there just aren't enough hours in the day to do all I would like lol) so with this week's StampFairy Friday release I thought I would make a windmill for the garden.  I found a template on Google, used digi papers (which I printed on both sides).  This cute Snail  is from StampFairy's Critters range & I coloured his face with ProMarkers & paper pieced his shell.  The little images on the stick are this week's freebie & I finished off with some gems.  All the images at the moment are half price but I'm not sure how long for so you need to get in quick.

Treasured Memories at Sentimental Sundays

This weeks Sentimental Sundays challenge "Treasured Memories" really got me thinking & all I could come up with was a scrapbook page until I saw this cute image from this weeks sponsor Meljen's Designs which is called "Hunny Bunny" & I thought a Wedding Day is definitely a day providing lots of treasured memories :) (I love a good wedding!).  I coloured the image with ProMarkers with a bit of Sakura sparkle & some liquid pearls.  The paper is form Dovecraft's "Wedding " paper pack (which I've had for yonks & have hardly used but thought it went perfectly with the image).  I gathered some organza ribbon & finished the card off with a punched heart, punched & glittered butterfly, some pearls & flowers (the greeting was cut from one of the sheets of backing paper).  I hope you can join us this week & why not check out the gorgeous creations from the other DT members for lots of inspiration & don't forget there's  free sentiments too!

The new images at StampFairy today feature this cute lil piggy with his umbrella & there is an umbrella freebie that matches perfectly too!  There is 50% off at the moment too, so you can buy twice as much lol.  I thought I'd make a corner bookmark (a friend at work said she needed one).  There are some instructions HERE if you would like to have a go :)  I coloured the image with ProMarkers & paper pieced the brolly, the freebie brolly has been covered with Glossy Accents.  The front of the bookmark has been embossed & I finished off with a ribbon, brad & border punch.

I hope you all had a fab weekend (& a great Mother's Day if you are a Mum & celebrated Mother's Day yesterday).  I had a wonderful Mother's Day as I spent the day in Kent with my eldest son & my 2 lil grandchildren (my DIL was at work but we did get to see her for a couple of hours too).  It was a long day with lots of traveling but luckily I wasn't in work til 9.30 this morn so I got a bit of a lie in (poor hubby had to start at 6.00 though).
