Christmas in August

Omg this card took soo long to make (I have seriously gotta try & speed up my crafting lol). At least it is finished at last (which is good as it is time to get tea ready). This image is from Willow Designs - I love Sharon's designs & this lil fella is no exception, this digi stamp is called "Keeping Warm". I coloured him with the obligatory Prismacolor pencils & glitter gel pens, the papers are from Designs by Krista & the card is finished off with some ribbon, a bauble greeting, pompom, s medallion snowflake which is a free download from Fred She Said which I added Glamour Dust & gems to.

21st Birthday Card

Well it's a lovely sunny Bank Holiday Monday & my poor hubby has to work so I've been doing a bit of sorting out in my craft room (though you'd never know it lol). I made this card for my cousin's daughter's 21st birthday, it was a bit of a challenge cos my Aunty (her nanny) has asked me to make a card from her also so I'm making (when I actually start it) a pink& girly card for her & I wanted this one to be different (if that makes sense lol).


The papers are from Scrapbooking Mad, I used my Nesties & finished card off with ribbon, flowers, greeting, pearl & the bottle of fizz has 3d gloss on it.

Anya Filofax :-)

I love stationery especially little notebooks so when Mark (hubby) brought some children's filofaxes home from work (they were from an old promotion & going to be thrown away) I got really excited lol. This one I decorated with a gorgeous Anya image (given to me by Zoe :-), I've really got to get some of these they are fab). She is coloured in with Prismacolor pencils, the papers are Designs by Krista - Cupcake, I love this cos they are my fav colour combination (pink & green). I finished the filofax off with a ribbon, some letter rub-ons & flowers from Pink Petticoat with gems added.

I made this card for 3 challenges:

The papers & image are all from Pink Petticoat Sweet Sundaes download coloured in with Whispers pens & sprinkled with Glamour Dust (I find them difficult to use but at least the Creative Belli challenge made me get them out again lol). The card is finished off with 2 flowers, a flower button, a string of small pearls, greeting & the border is Basic Grey.

Golden Wedding Card

I've been asked to make a Golden Wedding Anniversary card by my Aunty & this is what I came up with:

I stamped & embossed a wedding cake & used my Nesties & foam pads to 3d it. I stamped & embossed some glasses & used some Glamour Dust for the "fizz". The lace border is using my Martha Stewart punch & the card is finished off with a gold organza ribbon & a peel off (!) mounted on to cream card (attached with silicon glue).

Summer Fun :-)

I found this fab image free on the Web (sorry I can't remember where) & I just love it. The image is coloured with Prismacolor pencils, the background is chalked, I used 3D gloss on his (or should that be her, look at he shoes lol) & the greeting. I finished the card of with a fabric crab. The papers are a download from Scrapbook Mad.

I made this card yesterday on my day off but it was too dark to take any photos (I took photos in my lunch hour but they weren't very clear so I scanned it too).

I used a Cute Daisy May download (I have just discovered these & they are gorgeous), which I coloured & cut out. I used my Nesties & the papers are a free download from Papercraft Inspirations. The card is finished off with flowers brads, sticky pearls & ribbon. Ooh yeah & I used my Martha Stewart Lace punch & stamped sentiment.

Get Well Popcorn

I managed to make a card tonight even though I worked 9.00 - 6.30 (don't know how though lol) but I definitely ready for bed now.

I needed a Get Well Soon card for a friends daughter. I used my Popcorn the Bear Floral CD for the backing paper & image which has been decoupaged & a little bit of Glamour Dust added to the flowers. I also used an embossing folder & finished the card off with ribbon, brads & a stamped sentiment. The sketch is from the Crafters Companion challenge.

It has been another hot & sunny day today so hubby & I went for a long walk this afternoon, I managed to fit in some crafting in too though luckily. This card was made using the free image from Inky Impressions & fits 3 challenges:

The gorgeous image was coloured with Prismas & chalks, I added pearls to her dress & gems for earrings ooh nearly forgot - & Glamour Dust to her wings. The papers are Dovecraft Fantasy, the tag is K&Co & I finished the card off with flowers (some with more Glamour Dust), brads & stamped leaves.

Basic Grey Challenge is Back!

That is good news because I love Basic Grey papers & I have actually used them at last instead of just looking at them lol.

As I have 2 special birthdays on Wednesday - my son Craig's (& I have already posted his Meerkat card) & my Mother-in-Law Joy's. This card is for Joy. It is a Pink Petticoat handbag card with box. I embellished the card/box with glitter pen, punched flowers, glossy accents, eyelet, ribbon & LOTS of gems lol.

A Little Bird Told Me...

Hooray it's the weekend & even better we're on holiday now (no more work for a whole week how fab is that!). Had a lovely day, had the in-laws round for lunch & then went to Wroxham Barns, I love looking round all their crafty shops. Luckily the weather has been gorgeous for the last few days - fingers crossed it will last.

I made this card for my friend Duang who I work with. The image is Precious Moments coloured in with glitter pens & Prismas, the papers are Pink Petticoat & I used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. The card is finished off with flowers, gems, stamped greeting, brad & Glamour Dust. I am so glad I finished this card as I have to give it to her tomorrow but it is getting late & I'm in at work at 7.45 am tomorrow so really gotta get a move on lol.

Son's Birthday Card...Simples

It is my very special son Craig's birthday on 12th August & here is the card I made him. It fits 3 challenges: PaperPlay which is "Dimension", Kaboodle Doodles which is "Digital Images" & a new challenge (well new to me) Digital Tuesday which is "Simplify" - Simples lol. Craig thinks the Compare the Meerkat adverts are soo funny that I made his card based on this. The digi image is from Sandra Dry & coloured in with Prismas & Sakura glitter gel pens. The background I found on internet & is perfect cos Craig is a Computer Programmer lol. I put a little pic of Sergei inside with a brad (& crystal lacquered him).
