A New Stamp :-)

I got this cute Greeting Farm stamp for Christmas it is from a set with this cute character & another one, they are called Hope & Grace but I don't know which is which so I'm calling this one Hope (I think she looks more like a Hope than a Grace lol). I had forgotten I had them til Zoe reminded me :-) I coloured her in with ProMarkers,I used some of my favourite Designer Digital papers, my new Nellie Die & finished off with lace, some inked & glittered flowers & a tag, eyelet and ribbon.

A Bit of a Challenge...

Here's the card I made with this week's Delightful Inspiration's free image which I must admit I found a bit of a challenge lol. The papers are from Scrapbooking Mad (SBM) & I used EK success border punch. I coloured the birdies in with ProMarkers & added some gems & sparkle. I was unsure of what embellishments to use & then I saw this purple feather. I finished the card off with a greeting & brad. I'm entering this card for Penny's challenge which is Happy Birthday!!!

A New Baby Boy :-)

I made this card for my friend Julie who's daughter has just had a darling baby boy. I love this image by my SFTW Teamie Di which I paper pieced the romper suite & coloured the rest of the image in with Prismcolours & added some Glamour Dust. I used an embossing folder, corner punch, ribbon gems & greeting to finish the card off.

A Quick Post

Just a quick post as it is my lunch break & I have to go back to work very shortly :-( I made this card last night & I'm not sure about it although it is growing on me lol. I do love these images from Pink Cat Studio. I coloured Betty in with ProMarkers. The frame is my Nellie die, the papers are from Designer Digitals (I think) & I did some (not very neat) stitching around the edges. I finished the card off with a crocheted flower, button& chipboard tag with tiny gems.

Little Book of Scruffles :-)

Time for another challenge over at Lexi's Creations. This week the theme is nice & easy "Anything Goes" & the sponsor is Joanna Sheen. I made my little book using my Ultimate Pro (this was a Christmas pressie & this is the first time I've had chance to use it) & several of Lexi's Scruffles images coloured in with ProMarkers (isn't he just adorable). You can check Scruffles & all of Lexi's other designs at her Doodles website or on Digital Ink Co. The paper is from Scrapbooking Mad & I embellished the pages with various flowers, hearts, gems, pearls & stickers. Oh I nearly forgot the lace & ribbon for closing the book.

This card was made with this week's freebie from Delightful Inspiration. I used my Prismacolors this time as I haven't used them for a while & added a touch of sparkle to the centres of the flowers. The papers are from Designer Digitals & I finished off with a stamped cup & saucer, greeting & a couple of gems.

First Kiss

Woohoo weekend at last. It's been a really busy week at work - we had the computer server upgraded a couple of weeks ago & since then it keeps going down (which is not good in a doctors surgery as we can't do anything when it does (issue prescriptions, make appointments, type... & the doctors can't see patients, in fact there is not a lot we can do without the computers lol). As you can imagine we've been getting a few moans & groans from the patients. But I can forget all about that for a couple of days. I had a nice start to the day, talking the grandchildren on the webcam, then we went shopping which wasn't so nice lol but was ok & this afternoon I managed to make a card!

This image is called The First Kiss & is from Karen's Doodles. I coloured the image in with Promarkers, a bit of chalk & Prismacolors (for the grass). The papers are from Designs by Krista & I distressed the edges with a stitch unpicker. The finishing touches were a butterfly, buttons, ribbons, thread & 2 tiny gems. I left the greeting off for now cos I'm not sure what I shall use this card for yet :-)

Monday again & we're having computer problems at work so I was glad to finish at 2.00. I thought I'd blog this card I made yesterday before I clean the bathroom (all exciting stuff lol). This is the last male card I had to make for an order (thank goodness), hopefully now I can go back to making girly cards :-) . The image I used is from Digi Stamp Boutique & coloured in with ProMarkers, the paper is Papermania & I finished off with a punched border, crossword, computer generated greeting, peals & some pearlescent glue for the beer's head.

Sistah's First Challenge :-)

Since joining the Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers (SBS29) I have met some lovely ladies. Kim Marie who is the Group Admin has set us our first sketch challenge & here is my card. As you can see it is another Christmas card (if I keep on like this I WILL have my cards made in time this year lol). The papers are from my stash, I think they're from Designer Digitals, the image is from Pink Petticoat (I love these cute lil images) & has been coloured with Prismacolor pencils & glittered round the edge. The card is finished off with some gems & 3 diecut trees.

I suppose the one good thing about going to work is that if you didn't you wouldn't appreciate the weekends lol. It's still freezing here, hubby has gone to play footy & I'm hoping to do a bit of crafting (I can usually fit some in ;) ). This card I made last night using this weeks gorgeous Delightful Inspiration's free digi image (there is a greeting to go with this too but I forgot to use it, I printed it out & then it got lost under a pile of papers lol). The papers I've had for ages & were free with a magazine. I coloured the image in with ProMarkers & finished the card off with diecut swirls, flower, buttons, ribbon, gems, greeting & Glamour Dust.

A Man's Card At Last!

I have really been struggling to make some Male birthday cards for a recent order but today I have actually started & made a couple! I don't like making men's cards cos you can't really use flowers,flourishes, glitter etc & as you can see this card is very plain lol The gorgeous pearlised papers are by the Crafts House, I used a silhouetted image of boys fishing which I inked the edges of & finished the card off with ribbon, some pearls I coloured with my ProMarkers to match & a gold greeting from Craftwork Cards.

Challenge 7 at Lexi's Creations & this time the theme is "Dots or Stripes". I thought I had chosen stripes until on closer inspection I realised my paper was stripes with dots in! Lol double whammy :-). The sponsor this week is Sew Many Cards & I used their fab image called Hershey Praying. I coloured the image in with Prismacolors, the papers are from Designs by Krista (again - I've been choosing her papers lots lately, there's so many gorgeous ones). I used a fancy felt border, made another big punched flower & some smaller ones & finished off with a brad, pearls & stamped greeting, ooh & a bit of Glamour Dust.

Brrr it's freezing here today (at least it's Sunday so no biking to work though). This card was made using some fab papers from Designs by Krista, I made a flower out of them too. The digi image is Miss Anya Autumn from The Greeting Farm & she has been coloured with Prismacolor pencils. I added a silver ribbon, glittered the edges of flower & greeting & finished off with a button, silver cord & some gems. Still no men cards made lol

SFTW - Be My Valentine (**v**)

At Stampin' for the Weekend the challenge is "Valentine's" (or you can do a wedding project if you're not into Valentines, or you've made them all already lol). This weeks sponsor is Simon Says Stamp - a $25 gift voucher (think of all the lovely goodies you could buy with that). This card was made using my first Penny Black stamp, I love this stamp it is so versatile. The papers are from Designs by Krista & I did some more sewing & a bit of distressing. The image was coloured with Prismacolor pencils & Sakura glitter gel pens, I finished off with some flowers, die cut hearts,pearls, bead & stamped greeting. I Love Fairies :-)

I've had a nice day off today: lay in, friend round at lunchtime & talking to the grandchildren on the webcam. Work is soo stressful lately I really appreciate my time off (although I always do anyway lol). Also a bit of time for crafting :-) This card I made using a fab Lily of the Valley stamp which I coloured in with ProMarkers & used the Cracked Glass technique. The gorgeous papers are MME which were free with Cardmaking & Papercraft mag. I did some stitching, added lace & a punched & glittered flower. The card is finished off with a greeting & brads.
