More of the Same...

I really wanted to make something for the Sentimental Sundays "Christmas Tag" challenge as i missed last week but as I said in my post below there are just not enough in hours in the day at the moment so I'm afraid so it another CAS card & I used the new Jellypark "Tag With Ribbon" digi as it is so versatile & coloured it with ProMarkers, added a sticker, used Galaxy Gold Brilliance ink pad to ink the edges & finished with Glamour Dust.  The sentiment again is from Pink Petticoat.  This week we are sponsored by the wonderful Meljen's Designs.

The challenges:
Card Makin' Mamas - Happy Holidays
Fussy & Fancy - Tags & Banners
Crafty Hazelnut - Christmas Birthday or Anything Goes
Card & Scrap - Anything Goes

I'm having a really busy weekend trying to get sorted for Christmas as I'm working all week & we are away next weekend (seeing the grandchildren & taking their pressies - can't wait) & working Christmas eve :(  Hope your weekend is fabulous!

New Releases at Jellypark!

Today there are 2 fabulous new releases at Jellypark:  Tag With Ribbon (which I've used for my card) & Flower Shop.  I kept my card CAS again (time restraints & all) & just used one sheet of DP, a greeting & a sticker attached to my tag.  The Jellypark Friends challenge starting today is "Tag It" & I hope you'll find time to join us.

The challenges:
Emerald Faeries - Christmas
Bearly Mine - Anything Goes
Deep Ocean - So This is Christmas
Sweet Stampin' - Anything Goes
Crafts & Me - Why so Blue? (no blue allowed)
Papercraft Star - Christmas Tree
The Perfect Sentiment - Anything Goes with Christmas

Hope you've had nice week.  Sorry this is short & sweet, not much spare time at the moment but it should be better after Christmas & I can get back to normal (well as normal as possible ;)

Christmas Gift Box

I can't believe how close it is to Christmas & how unorganised I am (& it's not through want of trying, I started making my cards in January lol).  This weekend I'm definitely putting the tree up in fact I'm going in the loft to get it & the trimmings down when I've finished this post :D  Di's Digi Challenge this week is "Christmas Creation - Anything But a Card" & I made a lil gift box using my Ultimate Pro, I printed some Pink Petticoat papers on to thin card & added a ribbon & flower.  The image I used is "Christmas Cheers", which I chalked & added some Glamour Dust, gems & Aleene's Glitter Snow.  Now is the opportunity to make some Christmas decorations, gifts or packaging so I hope you will join us.

The challenges:
Sweet Stampin' - Dies & Punches
Critter - Anything Goes
C.R.A.F.T. - Christmas
Sarah Hurley - Christmas!
Delightful - All About Christmas
Papercrafting Journey - Christmas Projects
PaperPlay - Christmas is Coming
Fairy Tale - Oh Christmas Tree

I hope you're all more organised than me & having a lovely weekend.  Once I've got the tree up we are going to watch a Christmas movie (after Strictly of course) :D

Birthday Blog Hop at The Paper Shelter!

Good Morning fellow crafters and welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop. Our hop is a very exciting one for all of us at it is in celebration of our 2nd Birthday!!!! If you have landed here from Bente then you're heading in the right direction - if not then you'll want to head on back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to start again, as you'll not want to miss out on this one! Our Design Team have worked very hard and are showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter Website and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot.

For my card I did a bit of decoupage using "There's a Penguin in my Cocoa" digital image & as the challenge theme for the Blog Hop is "Two of a Kind" because it is our 2nd Birthday (which I almost forgot) I used 2 brackets (there is also 2 presents too).  I finished the card with Glamour Dust, greeting & pompom.

Sorry for the rubbish photo

I'm entering my card to these challenges:
The Cupcake Craftroom - Anything Goes for Christmas
Ladybug Crafts - Christmas/Winter
Natalie & Amy - Winter Wishes
Sparkles - Christmas is Coming
Crafts & Me - Anything Goes (with optional extra)
Papertake - Anything Goes (ditto)
Critter - Christmas Anything Goes

From here you will need to hop on over to see Wendy & don't forget to leave your comment for a chance of winning your choice of one of the fab digis available in store.
Hop! Hop! Hop!  Good luck and hope you're enjoying it so far & having a great week.
Sorry I haven't been around much but I haven't had a lot of free time & the little I have had has been getting ready for the few craft fayres I've been doing lately (luckily the last one is Friday night so hopefully things can get a bit back to normal (& maybe I can get sorted for Christmas, I've still got quite a few pressies to get & I haven't even thought about writing cards :S).  I was going to put the tree up last Sunday but it's going to have to wait until this weekend (I love Christmas & can't wait to get trimmed up!)

Non-Traditional Christmas Colours

Oopsie late again (but only a lil bit) - today's Sentimental Sundays challenge is "Non-Traditional Christmas Colours".  This was easy as these digi papers by Zoe Pearn (from The Sweet Shoppe) which are some of my favs so I used the colours from them.  We are lucky to be sponsored by the wonderful Saturated Canary & I used their "Christmas Angel" digi image which I coloured with chalk & Glamour Dust & finishing off with gems, ribbons & punched tag.  I hope you can join us (& if you're like me behind with your Christmas cards, it's the chance to get another one done :D & if not it's a chance to get started on next years ;) ).

The challenges:
Crimbo Crackers - Anything Goes
Crafty Hazelnut's - Make it Girly
Totally Gorjuss - Anything Goes with Glitter
Incy Wincy - Magical/Mythical
Fussy & Fancy - I Love Christmas
Allsorts - Advent
C.R.A.F.T. - Inspiration Picture
Charisma Cardz - Christmas with a Twist

Thanks for looking & I hope you've had a lovely weekend. I was hoping to put the tree up today but I just haven't had time & I'm back to work tomorrow after a wonderful week off & I can really say I'm dreading it :(  so hopefully I can get it done Wednesday on my day off.
