This week's Sentimental Sundays challenge is 3, 2, 1 (to use 3 of something, 2 of something else etc).  I've made a wedding card using Jellypark's "Wedding Cake" digital image which I coloured with ProMarkers.  I kept the card quite simple with a doily, bit of Glamour Dust & 1 dp, 2 hearts & 3 pearls :)  We are sponsored this week by the fab Meljens & if your looking for more inspiration why not check out the other DT members blogs :D

The challenges:

Ooh while I'm here I should mention (if you didn't already know) that October 6th is World Card Making  Day & Claire at Jellypark will be doing a fabulous Freebie again so don't forget to look out for that too :D

Hello & Happy Saturday!  I'm  a bit late posting this as I've been at a craft fayre all day (we won't talk about it though,  if I said a dozen people turned up I would be exaggerating lol).  This week's Di's Digi Challenge is "Animals Acting as Humans" & our fab sponsor is Ribbon Carousel.  I made this card a while ago (as you can see from the date) but forgot to blog it & thought it was just perfect for this challenge :D   I used "Christening Day girl" image & coloured it with ProMarkers, I used velum with a punched border & finished off with a doily, ribbon, charm, gems & a punched butterfly.

Sentimental Sundays Challenge

It is so great to be back at Sentimental Sundays :)  This week our challenge is "Autumn" & we're sponsored by the wonderful Saturated Canary :)  I have mentioned before that Zoe Pearn is one of my favourite designers & when I saw this digi kit called "Winds of Change" I just had to get it.  I love the butterfly paper & I've distressed the edges, I used a fabulous freebie from Saturated Canary called "Ava" which I chalked for a softer look.  I finished the card with some ink & Glamour Dust around the image, die cut leaves, punched butterfly, rose, ticket & some pearls.  I hope you can find some time for crafting this weekend (I can hubby's playing footy :D) & will be able to join us.

A Little Bird Told Me...

It's Friday so that means new releases & a new challenge at Jellypark Friends :D  This week there are 2 new releases: Squirrel I'm Nuts About You & Little Bird.  I wanted to make something different (& indulge my other passion: jewellery making), so I used (printable) shrink plastic & made some earrings & a bag charm using the Little Bird image.  I printed the image twice (flipping one to get a mirror image), coloured with pencils, cut around them both leaving a couple of mm border & then punched a hole in the top.  Once shrunk (using my heat gun) I attached each one to a jump ring, added some beads to an eye pin & joined together & attached all to an earring wire.  Then I made a bag charm too attaching beads & charms to a blank key chain.  The challenge is World Gratitude Day/Thanks if you would like to join us :D

The challenges:
Lexi's Creations - Make a Gift - Anything But a Card
Creative Craft - Anything Goes
Fab 'n' Funky - Things With Wings
Allsorts - Purple Passion
Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes
Crafting for all Seasons - Things With Wings

Roll on 5 o'clock when the weekend can begin :)

It's All About Autumn...

Which is a bit of a shame cos we haven't really had summer yet lol  But this week's challenge at The Paper Shelter is "Autumn/Fall" (colours/image).  If you play with a Paper Shelter image you have the chance of winning a gift voucher worth a wooping $30! All to spend in the Paper Shelter store & even if you don't use TPS images there is still the chance to win 3 of their fabulous images :)   For my cardI used TPS "Hippie Girl" digital stamp, which is one of my favs & paper from their gorgeous "Spring Fling" pack.  The flower was made with a Woodware punch I've had ages but this is only about the 2nd time I've used it (I really like it & think I will be using it more) & I finished the card off with some pearls, lace, ticket & a button.

I'm trying to catch up with my crafting/blogging as I've been in London for a few days  for my birthday & had a wonderful time.  I would recommend Shrek the musical to everyone, it was fab! Another Christmas Card (at last!)

At last I have made another Christmas card, although I started the year with good intentions I think I've only made about 5 to date lol.  I made this card for Di's Digi Challenge which this time is "More than 1 Die Cut/Punch".  Di has so many gorgeous Christmas images & I just love this one which is called "Letters to Santa".  I coloured the image with ProMarkers & added some Frosted Lace Stickles to her coat & hat. The backing paper is from Trimcraft & I used Aleene's Glitter Snow for the snow (I love the texture of this).  The holly border is a Memory Box Die with gem "berries" & the "Do Not Open" stamp is from Designer Digitals & I used my circle punch.  Our fab sponsor this time is Crafty Sentiments & I do hope you can join us.

I Know I Say This Every Week But...

Thank goodness it's the weekend lol  Even though it was a short week (with the bank holiday) it has seemed like a long week at work cos we have been so short staffed & busy.  The week started well though as I had a stall selling my handmade jewellery at a Body, Mind & Spirit Festival (very interesting) & I was so chuffed to sell quite a few things & get lots of positive feedback :D I will be putting some more photos on my Jewellery Blog when I can find the time :)

Oops I forgot to smile ;)
Anyway on to this weeks Di's Digi Challenge which is "Back to School".  I made this card for my lil granddaughter Aibigail who starts "proper" school next week, moving up from nursery.  The image I used is called "School Days" & I coloured it with ProMarkers, cut it out & added it to an oval die cut out of cloud paper (both papers are digi & from Zoe Pearn at The Sweet Shoppe).  I finished off with a bow, gems & computer generated sentiment.  This week we have a prize package for Sweet Stamps up for grabs too!
