What's on Your Workdesk? (Wednesday again?!)

Well that was a quick couple of weeks.  Day off today, hoorah! So thought I'd take a pic of my desk again, it's more Halloweeny this time.  I'm making some tags from some tags I had on some clothes, as they were orange & black :D  There's a bit of sparkly paper from the card I'm making for my DIL too (but I had to hid the card just in case she sees this lol). You can join WOYWW, Wednesday 437 HERE :o)

Hope you're all having a great week & I look forward to seeing what you're all up to later x

NB My computer is playing up as usual (I'm hopefully getting a new one soon) so if I don't get to visit you apologies x

What's on Your Workdesk?

Wednesday 435   Hello again, I thought I'd join in WOYWW as I'd just finished a quick card for a friend who has a new job using my new Spellbinders Emojis dies.  As you can see I've treated myself to a Christmas planner & I also have some leaflets & info from a lil break away we had last week to Nottingham/Sherwood Forest (we were so lucky the weather was glorious).  Nothing much else exciting as it's fairly tidy cos I haven't been doing any crafting recently, sooo looking forward to getting back to it :o)

Looking forward to having a look round your blogs & seeing what you're all creating at the moment.

As I'm here I thought I'd join in with some challenges :o)

The Sisterhood of Crafters - Use Your Dies
Create & Inspire - Anything Goes
Always Fum - Dies or Punches
Sparkles - Die Cuts and or Punches

An Update...

If anyone is still there lol

The main reason I've not been blogging is - my computer is on it's last legs & everything takes soo much longer.  I should be getting a new computer for Christmas (maybe even before with a bit of luck). I'm thinking about starting a new blog as I've had this one for years & it would be nice to have a new start.

The main reason I haven't been crafting is - after I had my hip replacement op I have been making up for lost time & doing lots of walking & exploring new places :o)  Now the winter is coming & the nights are drawing in I'm hoping to get back in my craft room & hopefully my mojo will come with me lol .

With Christmas coming (sorry to mention the C word but I DO love Christmas) I have got myself a planner & am hoping to be organised this year - will be looking for some Christmas swaps, Secret Santa's etc so let me know if you know of any please :o)

I can't wait to get back to blogging & visiting all your lovely blogs for lots of inspiration.

Big hugs

Tracey xx

Today I am having my hip replacement operation & I can't wait.  I am so looking forward to being able to get back to "normal" (all being well) & have a list of places I want to go/things to do when I have recovered :o)  Sorry I've been AWOL but hopefully I can soon get back to crafting & visiting your fabulous blogs again & get lots of inspiration.

Unfortunately I have had to leave my beloved All Dressed Up Design Team & I have had such a wonderful time with such a brilliant group, I will miss them & using Wendy's fabulous designs (though I will still be using them obviously lol).  So I thought I'd post some of my favourite ADU creations:

Keeping It Simple

Sorry I've been a bit AWOL lately (definitely not been blogging every week as I wanted to) but to be honest it's been a rough year.  I've had a cough since January.  I've had various tests which were clear & medicines which didn't help (& as my job involves LOTS of talking this has made it worse).  Now the doctors have referred me cos they don't know what else to do.  This is on top of the fact that I need a hip replacement op, I've been putting it off but the last few months it has got progressively worse & now they've said I might not be able to have my op because of the cough.  So as you can imagine I'm a bit fed up & to top it all my mojo went missing too!  That is why my creation for the new All Dressed Up Anything Goes challenge is very simple.  I used Wendy's fabulous Shoes image which I coloured with chalk & just added a crochet flower & a couple of buttons & put it in an old frame I had :o)

The challenges:
Crafting from the Heart - Anything Goes
Crafty Gals Corner - Anything Goes
Crafty Creations - Anything Goes

Alice in Wonderland

Hello everyone sorry I've been awol for a lil while & I missed my resolution of posting weekly (only by a few days so I won't beat myself up about it lol).  I've not been feeling great, various reasons but one of them is that I've had a persistent cough since January which I'm being investigated for & they found out I'm anaemic again (I'm not surprised as I've been exhausted) hopefully it will all be sorted out soon & I will be back to my ol' self.

Anyway on to my creation which is an Alice in Wonderland pocket letter.  Alice in Wonderland was my favourite book when I was a little girl & I still love it!  I really enjoy making pocket letters & the concept of sending little gifts with them but unfortunately I some bad experiences so I've given up (for now, I may have another go later), such a shame as I'd love to make another Alice in Wonderland as I have some new stamps (perhaps I'll make another mini album or something).

What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday (again! can't be)

Well it IS Wednesday again, Wednesday is usually my day off but I had to work, luckily only for the morning. I wanted to try & join in WOYWW again so quickly wizzed round the shop when I finished & as my son's coming to see this evening I made some buns & prepared a roast dinner :D (so I deserve a little time to look round your fab blogs & workdesks right?!). This is more how my desk usually looks, I've noticed I do have a lot of scissors lol but I use them for different jobs. The owl organiser is my diary, I love printing photos off of what's been happening & stuff I've done as I find a visual record is much nicer than written (especially with my writing lol). I will try & visit as many of you as I can. Hope you're having a great week xx
